Adult Recreation

Adult recreation is for individuals and adult leagues are offered for team registration only. Individuals who would like to participate in a team sport, but don't have a team, should contact the Parks and Recreation Department to be placed on a free-agent list. Call (952) 924-2540 to be placed on a free-agent list. Leagues may fill before the deadline, so register early.

Adult 5 on 5 Basketball League

Ages 16 and older
Men's officiated league offers competitive and recreational levels.

• Tuesday - Thursday evenings
• 12-week schedule begins Nov. 22
• Central Community Center, 6300 Walker St.
• $530 per team
• Registration deadline: Nov. 10 or until league fills

Adult 6 Person Broomball League

Ages 16 and older

Competitive and recreational men's and co-rec leagues.

• Monday - Thursday evenings
• 7-week schedule begins late Dec. (weather permitting)
• Nelson Park Hockey Rink, 2500 Georgia Ave.
• $390 per team
• Registration deadline: Dec. 2 or until league fills
• Registration Form

Adult Indoor Volleyball League

Ages 16 and older
Co-rec, six-person officiated league.  Watch for our winter brochure: more leagues begin in January.

• Wednesday evenings, 7-week schedule begins Jan. 4 
• Junior High School, 2025 Texas Ave. S.
• $180 per team
• Registration deadline: Dec. 16 or until league fills

Adult Softball

Ages 18 and older

It’s not too early to start planning for next year’s season!  The league is USSSA sanctioned and offers all levels of play (C - D) and tournaments (additional cost). Call (952) 924-2540 for an information packet.
Begins Late April

• Men’s: Mon – Fri evenings (single or double-header games)
• Women’s: Tues evenings
• Co-Rec: Sun, Tues, Wed, Thurs (single games)
• Aquila Park or Dakota Park
• Single-header games (12 games).............. $565 per team*
• Double-header games (20 games)............ $780 per team*
• *Fee includes league playoffs
• Registration deadline for returning teams from the 2011 summer league: Feb. 13
• Registration deadline for new teams: March 18
