Water Fun Guide
St. Louis Park's Outdoor Aquatic Park, located at 3700 Monterey Drive, is a favorite among local families, providing a number of fun water activities.

The Aquatic Park is open for the season. We look forward to your visit!

St. Louis Park's Outdoor Aquatic Park features:

Aqua Obstacle Course

Our Aqua Obstacle Course is guaranteed to provide hours of fun! The Aqua feature includes a ramp, bridge, a balance pond, slide, cliff and a corner base. Three great activities in one area, the diving board, the drop slides and the Aqua Obstacle Course!

Aquatic Park Group Reservations

Groups of 20 or more may reserve admission to the Aquatic Park Tuesdays through Fridays during regular hours for $1 off the general admission price. For details, call The Rec Center at (952) 924-2540.

Aquatic Park Season Passes

A season pass is a great value! Passes offer unlimited entrance to the Aquatic Park. You can buy your pass online or complete the application on page 48 of the Spring/Summer Parks & Recreation brochure and mail, fax or drop it off at The Rec Center. (If lost, replacement passes available for $2.)
Note:
Season passes are not mailed. Passes will be available for pick-up at The Rec Center 10 business days after your application has been received.
For the best price, purchase your pass before June 2!

Aquatic Park Closings

The pool will always be closed in the event of inclement or severe weather. If the temperature/wind chill falls below 70 degrees and/or there is less than 20 customers in the pool for a one-hour time period, the pool will also close. In case of questionable weather, please call the Aquatic Park weather line at (952) 924-2567.



Adult Lap Swim

Ages 18 and up
Work out daily in our 25-meter lanes! Individuals under 18 are not allowed in the adult swim lanes during lap swim times.
Monday – Sunday............................11 a.m. – 1 p.m. (five lanes)
Mondays & Wednesdays.................5 p.m. – close (five lanes)
Fridays & Sundays...........................5 p.m. – close (two lanes)
Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays (no evening lap swim)

Oak Hill Splash Pad

Our water playground at Oak Hill Park lets kids activate bubbling hoses, water nozzles and sprinkler arches. Just wave your hand over the sensor bollard and get ready to splash in the sun! It’s the equivalent of running through the sprinkler on a grand scale. Parents should always accompany and supervise children. Rubber soled water shoes...


Senior Lap Swim

Ages 55 and up
Five 25-meter lanes are reserved for lap swimming during this time.
Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Fee: daily admission or season pass



Parent & Tot Time

Ages 6 and under (must be accompanied by an adult)
The shallow area of the pool is reserved for exclusive use by tots. Families participating in Tot Time must arrive before 10:45 a.m.
Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Fee: daily admission or season pass



Tuesday Night Special

Ages 15 and under
Every Tuesday beginning at 4:30 p.m., one child will be admitted free with an adult purchasing a daily twilight admission.



Last Day Pandemonium!

All ages
Bring a non-perishable food donation for the St. Louis Park STEP food shelf and pool entrance is just $1. All season pass holders who bring a food donation will receive a coupon for one free small fountain beverage choice at the concession stand. Cash donations will also be accepted for STEP. The concession stand will feature last day specials.

Aquatic Park Rental

Aquatic Park Gazebo Rental
Groups up to 24 people may reserve the gazebo for parties and other events. In addition to the gazebo rental fee, daily admission (discounted $1 per person) or a season pass is required to enter the Aquatic Park.

  • $30 rental fee per time block (resident) / $40 (non-resident)

Private Aquatic Park Rental

Rent the Aquatic Park for after-hours company gatherings, events, athletic teams, scout groups and birthday parties.

  • Monday - Friday: 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. (7:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. beginning Aug. 5)
  • Saturday - Sunday: 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Pool rental rate: $400 per hour
  • Aqua Obstacle Course (Wibit): additional $100 per hour
    (Must request at time of application.)

Reciprocal Agreements

St. Louis Park residents may join the Williston Fitness Center at the Minnetonka resident rate. Williston offers an indoor pool, indoor tennis, indoor baseball/softball practice facilities, a party room, basketball, volleyball and other gym activities. Williston also has a full complement of cardiovascular and strength conditioning equipment. For details...
