As of May 5, the Minnesota DNR has upgraded Hennepin County to High Fire Danger level. Under high fire danger, fires can start easily from most causes and small fuels will ignite readily. Recreational fire permit holders should especially be aware of these conditions.

Did you know that Minnehaha Creek runs through the City of St. Louis Park and connects to the Mississippi River?

Citizens for the Minnehaha Creek Corridor (CMCC) is a group that formed out of a desire to keep Minnehaha Creek and its recreational areas green and vibrant. The CMCC website has information about getting involved.
