Neighborhood Characteristics

  • Bronx Park occupies 241.6 acres or about 38 blocks.
  • Bronx Park has three neighborhood parks: Bronx Park, Dakota Park and Nelson Park.
  • Bronx Park is in the Peter Hobart/Susan Lindgren elementary school attendance boundary. Peter Hobart Primary Center is located in this neighborhood.
  • Bronx Park is exclusively single-family homes (997 homes) with just a few shops bordering Louisiana Avenue and Minnetonka.
  • Parks & open space - 12.7 percent
  • Commercial/retail - 1.2 percent
  • Bronx Park was subdivided between 1911 and 1913; however, 90 percent of the neighborhood wasn't developed until after World War II. Most of the homes were built between 1947 and 1953. The average year-built was 1947.
  • Population - 2304 (2002 Census)

  • There are no events planned at this time.  The Bronx Park Neighborhood had a full fall with a Picnic Operetta, Kick Ball Game, General Meeting and more.
