  • Bronx Park occupies 241.6 acres or about 38 blocks.
  • Bronx Park has three neighborhood parks: Bronx Park, Dakota Park and Nelson Park.
  • Bronx Park is in the Peter Hobart/Susan Lindgren elementary school attendance boundary. Peter Hobart Primary Center is located in this neighborhood.
  • Bronx Park is exclusively single-family homes (997 homes) with just a few shops bordering Louisiana Avenue and Minnetonka.
  • Parks & open space - 12.7 percent
  • Commercial/retail - 1.2 percent
  • Bronx Park was subdivided between 1911 and 1913; however, 90 percent of the neighborhood wasn't developed until after World War II. Most of the homes were built between 1947 and 1953. The average year-built was 1947.

  • Bronx Park Neighborhood General Meeting April 8th at 6:30 pm in the Nelson Building at 2500 Georgia Ave S.  BPNA is excited to present Kathy Larsen, Housing Program Coordinator for the City of St. Louis Park.  Kathy will present the many options available to homewoners in St. Louis Park to remodel their homes and finance the project through grant funds.

 

  • Neighborhood Garage Sale June 4th and 5th from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.  This annual event is held rain or shine.

  • Bronx Park has had an active neighbors group since 1998. They have developed a community vegetable garden in Nelson Park, and they host an annual summer social event.
