updated: Wednesday, May 16, 2012Current Status
The project is complete.
Project Description
Each year the City rehabilitates several miles of local residential streets. This past year (2011), the streets rehabilitated were located in the north central part of the City. These included selected streets in the Pennsylvania Park, Willow Park, Eliot and Eliot View Neighborhoods (see map).
Street rehabilitation work generally consists of removing and replacing the existing bituminous pavement and replacing portions of concrete curb and gutter as needed. Other work includes storm sewer and watermain repairs. Access to properties is typically maintained throughout construction. Water main was also replaced on the 1800 blocks of Oregon and Nevada.
