Construction Projects Currently Happening in St. Louis Park - 8/26/14
Texas Avenue near Knollwood: Starting Monday, August 25, CenterPoint Energy will be setting up for repairs of a pipeline. Texas Avenue will be reduced to two lanes, having the stoplight at Texas and 36th change to a four-way stop and continue allowing one lane north and one lane south for traffic. In order to keep Texas Avenue open for traffic, the street will be posted “no parking” as needed to keep the area safe for travel.
- Currently closed between Princeton Avenue to Vernon Avenue until Friday, August 29 at 5 p.m. Street work anticipated to begin in late September. Wooddale detour route
France Avenue Road Closure (Minneapolis)
Minger Construction closed France Avenue between 41st and 42nd Streets on Monday, August 18 until mid-October. The detour route
goes through Minneapolis.
Raleigh Avenue - Final lift of pavement will be installed the week of August 25-29.
Utica Avenue - Street work to begin the week of August 25-29.
Hennepin County Project on Excelsior Boulevard – Milling and paving is complete and all lanes are now open to traffic. Striping of lanes and crosswalks will be done the week of August 25 which involves lane closures as they move across the street. The current schedule from Hennepin County has them finishing on Thursday, August 28.
