West 44th Street Reconstruction

Current Status
The project is essentially complete. However, a final inspection of the project has been completed and the Contractor has been working to finish up miscellaneous warranty items. Proposed Project
The reconstruction of 44th Street from Brookside Avenue to France Avenue is being administered by the City of Edina with the support of the City of St. Louis Park. Reconstruction will consist of the removal and replacement of the existing asphalt pavement, curb and gutter, and utility and drainage improvements. Consideration in maintaining the existing roadway widths and preserving existing trees has been made a priority as part of the design.
