Reporting Crime

updated: Wednesday, May 16, 2012

If you see a crime being committed - or just see or hear something suspicious - call 911.

To report a past crime or incident, call the non-emergency line at (952) 924-2618 or stop by the police station at 3015 Raleigh Ave. S. If you visit the police station, you may have to allow time for an officer to drive back to the station to take the report. Please note: only incidents that occurred in St. Louis Park can be reported to the St. Louis Park Police Department. If the incident occurred in another city, it must be reported to that city's police department.

In you have information about ongoing criminal activity and wish to remain anonymous, you may call the Crime Tip Line at (952) 924-2165. After a recorded message, you can leave a detailed message - with or without your name and/or phone number. Messages are retrieved during normal business hours only.
