Under the direction of the Economic Development Authority (EDA), the CIty of St. Louis Park provides a variety of services and resources as well as administers numerous programs to assist businesses and developers with their expansion plans.  These include the following:  

  • Business site selection assistance  Excelsior and Grand Sign
  • Local tax structure and tax increment financing districts data and analysis
  • Guidance on available City programs and other programs for various types of projects
  • Redevelopment process assistance
  • Public/private financial packaging assistance
  • Coordination/implementation of special service districts
  • Real estate transactions
  • Private activity bond issuance or refinancing
  • Business relocation/expansion assistance
  • Redevelopment contract negotiations
  • Commercial rehabilitation and small business development loans
  • One-on-one free business consulting services with MCCD
