Economic Development Division Services
updated: Tuesday, April 17, 2012Under the direction of the Economic Development Authority (EDA), the CIty of St. Louis Park provides a variety of services and resources as well as administers numerous programs to assist businesses and developers with their expansion plans. These include the following:
- Business site selection assistance

- Local tax structure and tax increment financing districts data and analysis
- Guidance on available City programs and other programs for various types of projects
- Redevelopment process assistance
- Public/private financial packaging assistance
- Coordination/implementation of special service districts
- Real estate transactions
- Private activity bond issuance or refinancing
- Business relocation/expansion assistance
- Redevelopment contract negotiations
- Commercial rehabilitation and small business development loans
- One-on-one free business consulting services with MCCD
