Fishing in the Neighborhood

In St. Louis Park we have 3 lakes stocked with fish, Wolfe, Westwood and Lamplighter Lakes. Through a partnership with the Minnesota DNR, Fishing in the Neighborhood Program, the city is able to provide fishing piers and annually stocked fish, such as bluegills, crappies, northern pike, large mouth bass and yellow perch. When fishing St. Louis Park lakes, please consider using lead-free fishing tackle.

The lead-free fishing tackle promotion is a part of a program sponsored by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Department of Natural Resources.

Tree Pruning

This work is performed by a contractor hired by the city and is intended to improve the health, safety and function of all of our boulevard trees.
