July 4th Fireworks Celebration

Fireworks at Aquila Park are a St. Louis Park tradition! Concessions, vendors and a special performance by Stevie and the Table Rockers (rock-n-roll music) will be at the park, 7 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Fireworks begin at approximately 10 p.m.

Although leashed dogs are allowed in our parks, we strongly discourage them from attending due to their hearing sensitivity.

Weather looks threatening? Call the weather information line at 952.924.2567 for fireworks status.

Fare For All is a cooperative food purchasing program that sells groceries at discounted prices and is open to anyone and everyone. There is no pre-registration and many forms of payment are accepted.

Penny Carnival

Save your pennies for this fun, low-cost carnival. Show off your skills at the fun carnival games, boogie-woogie to the DJ and jump in the moonwalks. Enjoy hay rides, refreshments and more. Your own transportation to and from Wolfe Park must be provided.

National Night Out

All ages
Each year, Neighborhood Watch block captains throughout St. Louis Park organize block parties to organize block parties to celebrate National Night Out, and neighborhood associations organize larger events throughout the city.

This year, National Night Out will occur on Tuesday, August 4. You do not need to be a block captain to organize a National Night Out event for your neighbors. Registration information will be mailed to block captains in June.

Party registration forms and your street closure applications are due by Friday, July 24.

Bring a non-perishable food donation for the St. Louis Park STEP food shelf and pool entrance is just $1. All season pass holders who bring a food donation will receive a coupon for one free small fountain beverage choice at the concession stand. Cash donations will also be accepted for STEP. The concession stand will feature last day specials.

Excelsior Boulevard road work starts July 6

On Monday, July 6, Hennepin County will be starting a mill and overlay of Excelsior Boulevard from Quentin Avenue to Monterey Drive. The work is expected to take about five days and may result in some traffic congestion in the area.
