National Night Out

All ages
Each year, Neighborhood Watch block captains throughout St. Louis Park organize block parties to organize block parties to celebrate National Night Out, and neighborhood associations organize larger events throughout the city.

This year, National Night Out will occur on Tuesday, August 4. You do not need to be a block captain to organize a National Night Out event for your neighbors. Registration information was mailed to block captains in June.

Climate Resilience Event

A free and public Climate Resilience event will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at the St. Louis Park Rec Center Banquet Room (3700 Monterey Drive).

Meet Dr. Mark Seeley, state climatologist and professor at the University of Minnesota, and Patrick Hamilton, Director of Global Change Initiatives at the Science Museum of Minnesota, who will speak on climate change in Minnesota and how we can be more resilient in a changing environment. Resilience and preparedness materials will be available as well as a survey for attendees to complete.

This event was made possible through the Environmental Assistance Time Sensitive Grant Program administered under Minn. Statute 115A.0716 and Minn. Rules 9210.0840 through the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.



Fare For All

Fare For All is a cooperative food purchasing program that sells groceries at discounted prices and is open to anyone and everyone. There is no pre-registration and many forms of payment are accepted.

New this summer during the Summer Concert Series, Whole Foods Lake Calhoun will be onsite with healthy snack options for you to enjoy during the concert including popcorn, juice boxes, fresh seasonal fruit and more. Prices range from $1 to $5. Dates they will be in attendance are June 24, July 8, 22, August 5 and 19.

Excelsior Boulevard road work starts July 6
