About Garbage Collection
updated: Wednesday, April 25, 2012Garbage is collected weekly on the same day as recycling and yard waste. Garbage must be set out by 7am to ensure collection. If you believe your garbage was missed, please call Waste Management at (763) 783-5423.

Educational Tags - Garbage
updated: Monday, April 09, 2012The City requires Waste Management to leave educational tags on your garbage cart for improperly prepared garbage.
Improperly prepared garbage includes:
- garbage that is not bagged;
- has yard waste mixed in;
- is overfilling the cart;
- not using extra refuse stickers for extra bags of garbage outside your cart;
- setting garbage in the street/alley or on the sidewalk; or
- having bulk items set out without prepayment or a scheduled collection.

Cart Placement & Storage
updated: Monday, April 02, 2012- The grassy area of your boulevard between the street and sidewalk
- Your driveway
- On your property next to your garage if you have alley collection
- On your property adjacent to the alley
Please put carts away promptly once your garbage has collected. If you must store your carts outdoors, please be considerate and store them where they are least visible to your neighbors. The city requires that carts are not stored adjacent to the street, and at least four feet from interior lot lines.
Bulk Item Collection
