Application Options
updated: Friday, December 30, 2011e-Permitting: Available for single residential items that require an electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and point of sale permits. e-Permitting is not available for commercial or industrial projects or projects requiring plan review, projects requiring zoning review, or any other residential remodeling projects that requiring multiple installations/inspections. In these cases, please apply by another method as listed below.
Fax: Permit applications may be faxed to City Hall at (952) 924-2663. Faxed permit applications and plans must be received as legible. If you intend to fax in a permit application, you should include a credit card number on the fax cover sheet. All fax cover sheets are destroyed once permit applications are processed. (Click on Permit Forms for the permit application form and a pre-printed fax cover sheet.)
U.S. Mail: Permit applications may be mailed to City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Boulevard, St. Louis Park, MN 55416. If you intend to mail in a permit application, you may include a check or written credit card number.
In Person: All building permits may be applied for in person at City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Boulevard. Go to the second floor Inspections counter. City Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
