Sanitary Sewer
updated: Wednesday, March 21, 2012The mission of the Sewer Division is to provide the community with a sanitary sewer collection system that will ensure the optimum transportation of sewage with minimum interruption and backups through maintenance, repair and replacement of the sanitary sewer system. The City has approximately 140 miles of sanitary sewer lines consisting mainly of 9” vitrified clay pipe, 3,062 manholes and 23 lift stations.
If you experience sewer problems, call Public Works at (952) 924-2555, Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. All other times, call Non-Emergency Police Dispatch at (952) 924-2618.
