updated: Tuesday, September 07, 2010There are four divisions within the Public Works Department that work to provide safe, reliable, and efficient services to the community. About 58 full-time staff work in the Public Works Department.
Administration Division
This division provides administrative support for Public Works. They also manage the city's contract for residential garbage, yard waste, and recycling collection, and assist with the management of the roadway and utility infrastructure. Learn more about the Administration Division.
Engineering Division
This division oversees the development, design, construction, and management of the city's infrastructure including streets and surface water drainage; reviews projects to ensure design standards; project reviews and inspections; and permitting. Learn more about the Engineering Division.
Streets & Traffic Division
This division, also called Operations, is responsible for ensuring the safety of the traveling public. Learn more about the Street & Traffic Division.
Water & Sewer Division
