Wheel kits are available to residents on the city’s residential recycling program.

What are Wheel Kits?
Wheel kits make it easier for residents to move their bins from the house to the curb. A wheel kit consists of 2 wheels, an axle, rope handle, related hardware, and instructions. Existing recycling bins will require holes to be drilled to install the axel/wheels.

How do I get a Wheel Kit?
Call Public Works at (952) 924-2555 to order a free wheel kit. City staff will drop off wheel kits and instructions at your residence on your collection day. Residents will be responsible for doing the installation.

What if my Wheel Kit Breaks?
Call Public Works at (952) 924-2555 to order a free replacement wheel kit. City staff will drop off the replacement kit at your residence on your collection day. Residents will be responsible for doing the re-installation.
