Learn & Laugh at Lenox!
The St. Louis Park Senior Program, based at Lenox Community Center, is operated through a partnership between the City of St. Louis Park and St. Louis Park Community Education. It is open to anyone 55 years or older.

Join the nearly 1,100 members of the Senior Program today and begin to reap the benefits for your mind, body, spirit and community. Our members learn for enjoyment and personal growth. They enjoy tours, travel, discovering new friends and interest, Whether you are ready to glide onto a ballroom dance floor or learn more about the humanities, there is something for you at the St. Louis Park Senior Program. Activities, Classes and Outings are detailed in the Newscaster Newsletter, available in print format at the office (rm.104) at Lenox Community Center, or as a large pdf download at the link below. Members get the Newscaster mailed direct!

Lenox Community Center is located in the "Heart Of The Park" at 6715 Minnetonka Blvd. (between Georgia and Hampshire Ave. S.), is served by MTC Bus 17C and 17D. The Senior Program Info Line is 952-928-6444.

Lenox Community Center now has free wireless internet available in the western half of the building. This free service is brought to the community by City of St. Louis Park Information Resources.

Senior Community Services (SCS)

Senior Community Services (SCS), is a nonprofit agency that has provided services to seniors and their families for over 60 years. The mission of SCS is to develop, coordinate and provide services that help meet the needs of older adults and support their caregivers. SCS’s programs are:

CareNextion: a free web-based tool anyone can use to coordinate caregiving for a senior by creating a personal and secure care team, having a journal and calendar function, and finding local community based resources. Free calls can be made where an experienced licensed social worker from SCS will answer questions and help solve problems.

H.O.M.E.: provides affordable homemaking, home maintenance, and chore services that help seniors continue to live independently in their homes. Seniors contribute to the cost of the services based on their ability to pay. 952-888-5530

Senior Outreach: are licensed social workers that provide care coordination, and supportive counseling for frail elders to assist them to remain independent. 952-746-4028

Medicare & Health Insurance Counseling: guides seniors and caregivers in choosing appropriate coverage from Medicare, Medicare supplements, and Part D Plans and in resolving insurance claims. 952-541-1019 ext. 307
