Future skate park location meeting: May 18
Your voice matters! We want your input on future relocation of the City of St. Louis Park outdoor skate park. Gather Wednesday, May 18, at 5:30 p.m. in the lobby of The Rec Center, 3700 Monterey Drive, St. Louis Park. From there we’ll visit the two locations under consideration for the skate park. Please dress for weather conditions and be prepared to walk. The skate park was previously located on The Rec Center campus, but has moved to Nelson Park this year due to construction of the new Outdoor Recreation Facility to the west of The Rec Center. Questions? Contact Jason West, Recreation Superintendent, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 952.924.2554.
The skate park located on the west side of The Rec Center
, 3700 Monterey Drive, has been temporarily moved for the 2016 season to Nelson Park, 2500 Georgia Ave. S. The relocation is necessary due to construction of the new outdoor recreation facility
at the skate park location. The skate park will continue to be a parks and recreation amenity in the future.
