Extreeme Science Camp
Grades 4 – 5 (2012 - 13 school year)
Investigate and experiment! Build air rockets and a launcher to fly here and take home. Make some cool kites and fly them at the Junior High. Conduct some experiments by making observations and predictions and test your theories. Be a scientist!! Outdoor Skills Camp
Grades 5 - 6 (2012 – 2013 school year)
Got any good outdoor skills? After attending this camp you will! We’ll spend the week in activities like archery, fire building, orienteering and fishing. End the week with an overnight campout at Westwood. Tents and food will be provided for the overnight.

Pollywogs Camp: Nature Wonders
Ages 4 – 5 by the start of each session (drop-off program)
Ever wonder what lives in a log or what frogs and toads at? Do you think all spiders make webs? Have you ever et a talking tree? Uncover the answers while experiencing he wonder of nature. Daily activities will include outdoor ikes, crafts, stories, games and puppet shows. Children

Pollywogs Camp: Pokin' Around
Ages 4 – 5 by the start of each session (drop-off program)
Discover the pond! We’ll poke around and find out what lives in and around Westwood Lake including fish, turtles, dragonflies and ducks! Daily activities will include outdoor hikes, crafts, stories, games and puppet shows. Children must be 4 or 5 by the first day of the session you choose.

Spend a fun-filled morning at Westwood’s playground! Activities will include a live animal visit, a scavenger hunt, stories, and a performance by Westwood’s outstanding puppets at 11:30 a.m. Bring your own picnic.

Wild Cameras Camp

See the Nature Center in a new way, through the eye of a camera. Snap photos, record videos and creatively edit your work. Working individually and in groups, we’ll explore nature through digital-picture taking and video making.Westwood will provide the equipment, help with editing,
