Be the Light Winter Solstice Walk

We will use this shortest day of the year to help us remember that many in our community aren’t able “to see the light” because of struggles with mental illness or difficult situations. Together we can be the light for those in our community and help them take their first “steps” out of the darkness. Activities will include a self-guided luminary trail, bonfire, s’mores and making your own luminary. Register online.

  • Fee: Free; preregistration required.
  • Registration deadline: When full.

Onsite parking is not available due to construction of the new Westwood Hills Nature Center Interpretive center. Street parking is available on West Franklin Avenue.

A free shuttle bus for the event will be provided. The shuttle bus will run from 6:15 - 8:15 p.m. and shuttle participants to and from the St. Louis Park Middle School parking lot and the nature center entrance on West Franklin Avenue.
