City Council Study Session/EDA/Regular Meeting

A 2040 Comprehensive Plan discussion is on the agenda when the St. Louis Park City Council meets for a special study session Monday, April 16, at 5:30 p.m. in the Community Room on the first floor of St. Louis Park City Hall, 5005 Minnetonka Blvd, St. Louis Park. Study sessions are open to the public, although no public comment is taken.

At 7:20 p.m., in the Council Chambers on the third floor of St. Louis Park City Hall, the Economic Development Authority (EDA) will consider two redevelopment contracts. At 7:30 p.m. the council convenes for its regular meeting, also in the Council Chambers. On the agenda, a public hearing on an ordinance amending the city charter to allow ranked-choice voting for municipal, as well as consideration of an ordinance protecting tenants following the sale of affordable housing buildings and approval of a solid waste collection contract for 2018-2023. Several items are also on the consent agenda, which are acted upon by one motion as they are considered to be routine or need no discussion. Following the regular meeting, the council will meet in closed executive session to discuss coal tar sealant litigation.
