Holidays in the Community Toy Drive CollectionUPDATE

On the morning of Dec. 8, 2017, Santa, representatives from Park Tavern and a convoy of fire apparatus and crews delivered the gifts received from the Holidays in the Community toy drive to Perspectives. The crowning jewel was a meticulously crafted gingerbread house created by Park Tavern's master chef; equipped with music, lights and a Santa who actually climbed up and down a ladder!

Thank you to all of the generous individuals who contributed to the toy drive.

The City of St. Louis Park, St. Louis Park Fire Department, Park Tavern and Perspectives have teamed up again for the Holidays in the Community toy drive. Please consider donating a new, unwrapped toy to Park Tavern (3401 Louisiana Ave. S.) before 8:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8. This year, we hope to give toys/gifts to 200 families in need!

When purchasing toys, please consider the following:

  • Toys should be new, unwrapped, and in the original packaging.
  • Gifts are meant for children ranging in age from 0-18 years old.
  • Please refrain from purchasing toy weapons.
  • Due to allergens, we cannot accept stuffed animals.
  • We serve a wide range of diverse families – please purchase culturally appropriate items whenever possible (books, dolls, make-up, etc.).

The St. Louis Park Fire Department will deliver the donated toys to non-profit Perspectives where they will be distributed to families in need around the community.

Your support is greatly appreciated!

Perspective's mission is to break the cycle for at-risk families and children for total family recovery. Learn more.
