New art installed in City Hall third floor public art display
Each year, the city gives local artists the opportunity to display and sell, if they chose, their artwork on the third floor lobby of City Hall.
Last week, new art was installed for the first term of the 2018 City Hall third floor public art display. Four St. Louis Park resident artists were selected for this term, which runs from January to the end of April.
- Heidi Hermes – photographs with digital brushstrokes of birds
- Kellie Rae Theiss – acrylic on board painting of a pileated wood pecker
- Kurt Duerksen – photographs of butterflies and flowers
- Ricky Rossow – wood sculpted fish and faces
The remaining two terms for the display have been filled for the year. If you are interested in participating next year, visit the Arts & Culture page this fall for more details.
