Public invited to learn more about proposed Westwood Hills Nature Center interpretive center project

Post Date:February 07, 2018 4:00 p.m.

If you’d like to learn more about the new interpretive center proposed to be built at Westwood Hills Nature Center, plan to attend one of two information sessions, Feb. 22 or 28, 6-7:15 p.m., at Westwood Hills Nature Center, 8300 W. Franklin Ave., St. Louis Park.

City staff, parks and recreation advisory commission members and consultants will review the concept design and provide an overview of the public process that has informed the project to this point. Presentation starts at 6 p.m., followed by an opportunity to ask questions. It is a short walk uphill via a paved path from the parking lot to the nature center; please wear appropriate winter attire.

If you need accommodation to assist in reaching the nature center from the parking lot, or for more information, contact Jason West, Recreation Superintendent, at or 952.924.2554.
