Minnetonka Boulevard pedestrian improvements open house
Hennepin County and the City of St. Louis Park invite you to participate in helping identify pedestrian crossing improvements along Minnetonka Boulevard (County Road 5) in St. Louis Park.
An open house will be held Thursday, Oct. 18 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. for you to meet with staff to discuss the proposed improvements, ask questions you might have and provide feedback. If you cannot attend this open house, there will be another later this fall. You can also submit your comments online.
The open house will be held in the Aquila Elementary School cafeteria, 8500 W. 31st St.
About this project
The goal of this project is to make improvements for people walking throughout the Minnetonka Boulevard corridor between highways 169 and 100. We want to know where you, the local residents and users, are currently crossing Minnetonka Boulevard, where you would prefer to cross or if you have any feedback on current crossing access. The feedback will be used to determine where to place temporary pedestrian crossing facilities in 2019 for trial. Permanent improvements are scheduled to be installed in 2020.
