128 lbs. of prescription drugs collected during Drug Take Back Day!

On Saturday, Oct. 27 the St. Louis Park Police Department held a Drug Take Back Day as part of the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. The event provided a safe way for anyone with unused or expired prescription drugs to dispose of them. During the event, the police department collected roughly 128 pounds of prescription drugs!

Thank you to the St. Louis Park Police Department and everyone who participated for making this another successful event.

Unable to attend the event?

For those that were not able to make the event, the St. Louis Park police and fire departments also offer medication disposal bags for residents as another safe alternative to dispose of unused prescription drugs. Bags can be picked up at:

  • Fire Station 1, 3750 Wooddale Ave. S.
  • Police department, 3015 Raleigh Ave. S.

There are also other locations around the area that will accept medications at any time. View the Hennepin County medicine drop box locations.
