Reilly site presentation and open house: Nov. 28, 2018, 6:30 p.m.
The City of St. Louis Park invites you to attend a presentation to learn about the successful environmental cleanup efforts related to the former 80-acre Reilly Tar & Chemical Corp. (Reilly) site over the past 30 years, as well as plans to continue these efforts for the next 30 years.
Located mainly at the northwest quadrant of Louisiana Avenue and Walker Street, the Reilly site is currently occupied by Louisiana Oaks Park, 3300 on the Park condominiums, Oak Park Village Apartments, Somerset Oaks Apartments, Park Tavern and an office building at the corner of Louisiana Avenue and Walker Street (see map of site). Environmental cleanup measures have been a joint effort of the city and several other agencies, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH).
