REM5 is now open to the public.

A public meeting was held before the St. Louis Park Board of Zoning Appeals (BOZA) on May 24, 2018. The BOZA voted to approve the two variances to allow a virtual reality (VR) indoor entertainment business at 4930 W. 35th St.

Project background

The City of St. Louis Park received two variance applications for a proposed indoor entertainment space:

  • A variance to allow more than 25 percent of gross floor area in the building to be indoor entertainment.
  • A variance to reduce the amount of parking required on the site.
