Public Right of Way Permit

The city requires a permit for any work in the public right of way. This includes work in the street, boulevard and sidewalk. A permit is also required when a lane of traffic must be closed.

Dumpsters or pods are not allowed on city property or right of way, including alleys, boulevards and sidewalks. Dumpsters must be placed on private property, such as a driveway or yard/lawn.

Installation/repair of sidewalk, curb cut or curb and gutter permit $12 per 10 linear feet

$60 per hole

Trenching in boulevard

$200 per 100 linear feet (minimum $200)
Trenching in roadway $400 per 100 linear feet (minimum $400)

Temporary no parking signs (for right of way permit work only)

Refundable deposit of $25/sign

(minimum of $100 per permit)

Delay penalty  Two times the total permit fee
