Westwood Hills Nature Center is a great resource for your scouting needs. We can customize our programs to meet your specific badge requirements, special awards and service projects. These activities provide scouts with the opportunity to build character and leadership, connect to the community, discover new things, collaborate with other scouts and have fun in an outdoor environment.

Some activities and badges we’re ready to help you work on include:

Girl Scouts
  • Daisy — Between Earth & sky journey; Three cheers for animals journey
  • Brownies — Bugs; Hiker; Outdoor adventurer; Pets
  • Cadette —  Archery; Night owl
Cub Scouts
  • Tiger — Tigers in the wild
  • Bear — Fur, feathers and ferns
  • Webelos — Into the wild; Into the woods

Please note that we’ll help with as many of the requirements as we can, but that some require extra work at home, are too much time for us to cover or are seasonally dependent.

Program fees

Fees are based on the length of program time, number of participants, whether the troop is based out of St. Louis Park and topic. Payment is due at the time of the program unless other arrangements are made prior to the program.
