Skate Shop Operating Hours

The Rec Center Skate Shop
3700 Monterey Drive

The skate shop is located on the first level of The Rec Center next to the Gallery (in between the West and East ice arenas). The shop features rental skates, skate sharpening service and a small pro shop.

The shop is staffed during the hours listed below, though skate rental and skate sharpening services are available by request outside of these hours. You can drop off skates and they will be sharpened within 48 hours of drop off.

$3 skate rental
$5 skate sharpening, per pair

 



Youth Open Hockey

Bring your own equipment and have fun playing open hockey on non-school days and holiday breaks. It is recommended that a parent or guardian be in attendance during skating sessions. This is a drop-in program without staff supervision.

Indoor Ice Rink Rental

Indoor Ice Skating Party

During open public skating sessions, either the Gallery or the Banquet Room can be rented for private parties. Each party will include two hour use of a room and admission to open skating for up to 15 people. Skate rental will be available for an additional $3 per pair.

Gallery: $85 (resident) / $100 (non-resident) per party

Banquet Room: $100 (resident) / $125 (non-resident) per party
