The city is beginning to update its Comprehensive Plan and wants to hear from you! The Comprehensive Plan is an official document that guides the future of the City of St. Louis Park. It sets forth policies and programs that govern land use, transportation, public facilities, economic development and housing. The 2040 Plan will build on the Vision 3.0 foundation and integrate it into plan elements. The plan shapes the practical goals, policies and strategies that work toward the Vision aspirations. It also includes plans for each of the city's 35 neighborhoods.
Neighborhood Planning Workshops Held in November
Thank you to everyone who attended a neighborhood planning workshop and shared your thoughts and ideas about the future of St. Louis Park's neighborhoods. Four workshops were held during November, and 140 people participated. At each workshop, a brief St.Louis Park 2040 presentation was given, and attendees played the Neighborhood Planning Game to discuss their neighborhood's future. Participants were asked to think about planning through the lenses of racial equity, mobility equity, income equity and age equity. Neighborhood Infographics and Maps were also available for review.
