St. Louis Park is dedicated to promoting and integrating arts, culture and community aesthetics in all city initiatives. A few of those initiatives include public art, the Utility Box Wrap Program and the St. Louis Park Arts & Culture Grant.
2019-20 city-school calendar photo contest
Anyone who lives, works or attends school in St. Louis Park is invited to submit photos to the 2019-20 City-School Calendar photo contest. For the contest, 13 photos that best reflect the calendar theme “My favorite place in St. Louis Park” will be selected to appear in the calendar.
The photo contest submission form will be available to submit entries Jan. 7 through May 30, 2019.

Arts & Culture Grant
The Arts & Culture Grant Program is a joint project of the City of St. Louis Park, the St. Louis Park Community Foundation and St. Louis Park Friends of the Arts. The program makes grant dollars available every year for music, visual arts, theater, film, multimedia, dance and other art projects.
City hall third floor lobby public art display
Each year, the city gives local artists the opportunity to display and sell, if chosen by the artist, their artwork on the third floor lobby of city hall. This display provides artists with a chance to showcase their art to city staff and the community.
Selected artwork will remain on the third floor city hall lobby for one of three terms, with each term lasting four months.
The 2019 terms are:
- Jan. 1 — April 30
- May 1 — Aug. 31
- Sept. 1 — Dec. 31
