ROC (Recreation Outdoor Center)

3700 Monterey Drive
St. Louis Park, MN 55416

*located on The Rec Center campus

The ROC (Recreation Outdoor Center) is a multi-use outdoor recreational facility located on the campus of The Rec Center. It was completed in 2017 with financial assistance from the St. Louis Park Hockey Association and a Hennepin County Youth Sports Grant.

This facility is used as a covered ice rink in the winter months for hockey, open public skating, broomball and other special skating events. In the spring, it can be converted to a covered, turfed field for baseball, softball, soccer and lacrosse, as well as special events such as the annual spring egg hunt. During the summer, a dry, concrete floor provides space for the Children First Ice Cream Social and a variety of other special events from weddings to movies in the park, to graduation parties.

Lions Club Egg Hunt

Participants will hunt for candy and special eggs in separate age categories. Each participant will receive a special bag to collect their goodies. Bring your camera for a picture with the Park Bunny and Lions Club Lion! Prizes will be awarded for the coloring contest (ages 8 and under). Pick up a color sheet at The Rec Center or download it when you register. Bring your completed masterpiece to the event. Program is sponsored by the St. Louis Park Lions Club.

  • Saturday, March 31, 10 a.m. (Egg hunt will begin promptly at 10:15 a.m.)
  • Fee: $2 per child, no fee for supervising adult
