Hours: 9 a.m. – dusk, seasonal

The skate park was previously located on the west side of The Rec Center, 3700 Monterey Drive, and moved in 2016 to make way for construction of the ROC (Recreation Outdoor Center). For the 2017 season, it will remain at its temporary location at Nelson Park. A new skate park will be built at Carpenter Park and is expected to be complete in September 2017.

Our Tier 1 skateboard park features two platforms with four foot high ramps on each end of the paved skating surface as well as grinding rails and box. Any scheduled classes or programs which could limit open skating will be posted at the Skate Park. For rental information, call 952.924.2540.

Skate Park Design Meeting

Are you a skate park user? You're invited to a meeting Wednesday, May 24, 5 – 6 p.m. at St. Louis Park City Hall to provide input on design of a new skate park, which will be located at Carpenter Park near St. Louis Park City Hall.

The city has hired California Skate Parks to design and build the new skate park. At this meeting, California Skate Parks representatives will walk attendees through a process to gain design input on the new park. Please RSVP to Jason West at jwest@stlouispark.org if you plan to attend.
