To reserve a park building, shelter or the amphitheater, complete the outdoor facility rental application.
All park buildings are fully enclosed and have indoor restrooms, tables and chairs, and free Wi-Fi. They do not have air conditioning with the exception of Wolfe Park. They can accommodate 20 or 30 people. Alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed in any park. There is a $300 refundable damage deposit for each park building rental.
Park buildings are available to rent on the weekends May 2 – Sept. 13 and on the weekdays May 26 – Sept. 4, from 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. with a two-hour minimum. The Wolfe Park building is available to rent year-round. For an additional fee and based on staff availability, rental outside these dates may be available.

Warming house rentals
When the warming houses are open for the winter season, the Birchwood, Browndale, Nelson and Oak Hill park buildings can accommodate groups up to 25 and are available to rent before, during and after regular warming house hours. Tables and chairs can be set up for rentals in a designated area of the warming house. If you are interested in renting a warming house, complete the winter outdoor facility rental application.
The general public may still access the building during warming house hours.
- Before/after warming house hours: $50 per hour (resident) / $60 (non-resident)
- During warming house hours: $20 per hour (resident and non-resident)
Picnic shelters can accommodate groups of 20 to 100. All shelters have access to electricity and free Wi-Fi, and most have grills (except for Fern Hill Park). Indoor restrooms are open May 26 – Sept. 4. Portable toilets will be available before May 25 and after Sept. 5. A permit is required for live bands or amplified music. Alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed in any park. A $100 refundable damage deposit is required for rentals.
Picnic shelters are available to rent on the weekends May 2 – Sept. 13 and on the weekdays May 26 – Sept. 4, from 11 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. or 4:30 – 9 p.m.

Picnic shelters at all other parks cannot be reserved; they are available only on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Veterans' Memorial Amphitheater
Terraced into the hill, the amphitheater connects the park to the Excelsior & Grand Town Green. Its eight terraced tiers offer seating for 300 people. The concrete stage at the bottom of the hill is edged with trees and shrubs. The facility is available to rent until 10 p.m. with an additional fee for overhead lights.
If either the amphitheater or Wolfe Park Building is rented with The Rec Center's Banquet Room, the amphitheater/park building rate is half price. Total fee depends on the time of day and rental length.
