Crime Free Multi-Housing
This program for rental property owners and managers is designed to reduce the incidents of crime and disorder in rental housing.
- Phase one: Eight hours of training on tenant screening, lease addendum, evictions, etc.
- Phase two: Physical survey of the building to make sure it meets minimum security requirements such as deadbolt locks, 180-degree peep holes, interior and exterior lighting, etc.
- Phase three: Crime prevention meeting to show tenants security precautions they can take to protect themselves and their belongings.
