The brush drop-off site is closed for the 2018 season.

Branches, brush or logs greater than four feet in length or four inches in diameter are too big for residential curbside collection. Bring these items to the city’s brush drop-off site.

There is no charge for St. Louis Park residents. A Minnesota ID or driver’s license is required as proof of residency.

The brush drop-off site is located at 2501 Edgewood Ave. S. The entrance located at intersection of Cedar Lake Road and Colorado Avenue South.


The residential brush-drop off site is closed for the season. It will reopen in spring 2019.

Items available at the brush drop-off site free of charge

For each item, please bring your own shovel and containers to load the materials.


Residents may pickup a maximum of five, 5-gallon buckets worth of free compost during regular hours. Compost is located past the entrance gate near the operations shed. Compost is provided by The Mulch Store.


Residents may pickup mulch, located on the east side of the entrance road in front of the gate, at any time.

Residents may pick up this fill material, located on the east side of the entrance road in front of the gate, at any time. This soil is not sterilized and will have weed seeds in it; due to this fact, it is not recommended for use in gardens.
